Earlier this month, Tina Gullì had the pleasure of attending the IR Global Mediterranean Meeting 2025 in Madrid; an event that brought together leading tax, legal, and financial professionals from across the region in an intimate and collaborative setting.
Hosted by BPV Abogados, AZ Asociados, Planning Assessors, and LEIALTA, the meeting was designed to foster meaningful cross-border dialogue and cultivate relationships within the IR Global network. Held from 8–10 May, the agenda struck the perfect balance between insightful sessions, relaxed networking, and cultural experiences that showcased the best of Madrid.
A Gathering of Minds
The meeting kicked off with a warm welcome dinner at La Mamona, setting the tone for the collaborative spirit of the weekend. The following day featured engaging presentations at the RIU Plaza España, including a marketing talk by Javier Martinez of LEIALTA and an inspiring session with Phil González, expert in digital communication, touching on timely topics such as personal branding, online security, and the role of AI in our industry.
Between coffee breaks and a rooftop cocktail lunch, there was ample opportunity to share ideas and best practices with peers from across the Mediterranean. Friday afternoon offered a guided tour through the centre of Madrid, followed by a Mediterranean wine and product tasting, and dinner at Mercado de la Reina, an ideal setting for continuing discussions in a more informal setting.
Saturday’s activities, including a walking tour of Madrid’s iconic sites and a tapas crawl at Tapa Tapa, rounded off the weekend on a convivial note.
